NEW VOLVO C30 1.6D DRIVe WITH START/STOP EMITTING ONLY 99 G/KM OF CO2
Volvo is pleased to announce that the new Volvo C30 1.6D DRIVe with Start/Stop will soon be exempt from the annual VED road tax. Emitting only 99 g/km of carbon dioxide (CO2), the new C30 1.6D DRIVe with Start/Stop falls below the 100 g/km carbon dioxide threshold and into VED Band A.
The latest version of the Volvo C30 DRIVe is also capable of up to 74.3 mpg on the combined cycle and can cover up to 857* miles on a single tank

The Volvo DRIVe range doesn’t just stop people in their tracks, or start conversations with random strangers.
It also uses our brand new Start/Stop technology – available on the Volvo C30, S40 and V50 DRIVe with Start/Stop – to cut CO2 emissions by up to 5% and fuel costs by as much as 8%. Here’s how it works: when you put the car into neutral and release the clutch, the engine switches off – while maintaining comfort settings such as the air conditioning and the stereo system. Then, the next time you press the clutch, the car starts up again.
